At our Truganina South centre, we provide high-quality early education and care in a nurturing and welcoming environment.

We're located next door to Truganina South Primary School, which is conveniently nestled between Tarneit, Hoppers Crossing, Laverton, Werribee and Point Cook.

Our centre has dedicated spaces for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) as well as music and language programs. We have large outdoor spaces and a vegetable garden for children to explore and learn about sustainability.

As a community-focused, not-for-profit centre, we love getting to know all our families and pride ourselves on the relationships we develop. We know that by working together, we can help your child thrive.

Meet our Centre Manager

Jasmeet Abat

My personal approach to early learning is to build wonderful relationships with children, families and educators. I also like to create natural, sustainable and quality play spaces. Plus, I'm passionate about developing children's curiosity, creativity, imagination and love for learning!

I have more than 10 years of experience in teaching and education, and have worked in early childhood education for the past five years. I’ve also recently completed my bachelor’s degree in early childhood education.

Being a parent myself, I know how important it is for all children to have a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment. I also know how crucial those formative years are. I enjoy being part of this very crucial time in a child’s life and sharing this wonderful journey with families.

Meet our Educational Leader

Roslyn Kumar

I am an experienced Educational Leader and Assistant Manager with over 12 years of experience in the Early Childhood Education sector.

I have been working with the Y for over three years, where I support high-quality educational practice through mentoring educators, guiding curriculum development, and promoting reflective practice aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF).

I am passionate about building inclusive, safe, and engaging learning environments that support every child’s wellbeing, learning, and development. I value strong relationships with families, educators, and the wider community and believe effective leadership is grounded in collaboration, respect, and continuous professional growth.

I have a deep passion for working with young children and find great joy in supporting their curiosity, creativity, confidence, and lifelong love of learning through meaningful, play-based experiences.
