Explore our Point Cook centre
At our Point Cook centre, we provide high-quality early education and care in a nurturing and welcoming environment.
We’re located next door to Point Cook College, which is a short walk, drive or bus ride from Point Cook Shopping Centre.
Our centre has dedicated spaces for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) as well as music and language programs. We have large outdoor spaces and a vegetable garden for children to explore and learn about sustainability.
As a community-focused, not-for-profit centre, we love getting to know all our families. We also work with inclusion support agencies to support children with additional needs, ensuring our program is inclusive for all. By working together, we can help your child thrive!

What we provide
Welcome to Y Point Cook Early Learning Centre
Welcome to the Y Point Cook Early Learning Centre, where children and families are at the heart of everything we do.
Our centre provides a nurturing environment where children are empowered to grow, learn and have their voices heard and respected. Through engaging, play-based experiences, we encourage children to explore at their own pace and pursue their interests freely.
At Point Cook, we strive to ensure every child has the opportunity to learn and develop the confidence and resilience needed to navigate our complex world.
We hold a deep respect for our community and local surroundings and are committed to partnering with families and our local area, to achieve the best outcomes for all children in our care.
Our diverse team speaks a range of languages including Arabic, Bengali, German, Hindi, Macedonian, Malay, Mandarin, Mende, Punjabi, Sinhalese, Spanish, Tagalog, Tamil, Tigrinya, Urdu and English, ensuring we can connect with and support families from various backgrounds.
We would be delighted to welcome you for a tour so you can experience the Y and our wonderful learning community firsthand.
Child Care Subsidy
Our programs qualify for the Federal Government's Child Care Subsidy (CCS).
CCS helps eligible families access approved and registered child care providers by partially subsidising the cost of daily fees.
Visit the Services Australia website to find out more or use this Child Care Subsidy Calculator to see how much you might pay.

What our families say about us
The decision to leave your child in childcare is an emotional one, especially as a first time mum. I am so glad that I chose YMCA Point Cook as the place to send my daughter. The staff are friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. Andrea
So happy with my decision to put my daughter here. The educators are so lovely, especially Mariana, Santosh, and anyone in the possum room. They are all so caring & always kept my daughter occupied with fun activity. Cintantya
Both my kids have been with YMCA since they were 8 months old. Love their friendly and caring team, communication is timely and up to date (there are daily updates, routines and photos on Storypark, never a day it is missed). The best thing of all - the activities for the kids are very engaging (e.g mandarin classes, yoga, science experiments, number learning, cooking class etc). Vidya
