Explore our Narre Warren centre

At our Narre Warren centre, we provide high-quality early education and care in a nurturing and welcoming environment.

We're located in the heart of Narre Warren South, a 10-minute drive from Berwick Station and Casey Hospital, and five minutes from Casey Central Shopping Centre and Eden Rise Shopping Village. We're also next door to Kingswim Narre Warren.

Our centre has dedicated spaces for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) as well as music and language programs. We have large outdoor spaces and a vegetable garden for children to explore and learn about sustainability.

As a smaller, community-focused and not-for-profit centre, we're able to pay special attention to each child. We love getting to know all our families and pride ourselves on the relationships we develop. We know that by working together, we can help your child thrive.

Meet our Centre Manager

Jo Smith

I've worked in early childhood education for over 30 years and have been Centre Manager at Narre Warren for 18 years.

With two children of my own, I understand what a privilege it is to be trusted with the care of others' children. It's important to me that all children receive the care and education that I would want for my own.

I'm passionate about providing high quality, educational and innovative programs to enhance your child's learning. At our centre, I create a sense of belonging that helps children, families and staff all feel safe and comfortable.

Supporting families is a hugely rewarding part of my role and I strive to develop strong partnerships and connections with all families. Our team of educators can speak a range of languages including English, German, Hungarian and Singhalese.

Meet our Educational Leader

Rachel Outhred

I have been with the Narre Warren Centre for 16 years and have had the opportunity to work across many different areas.

For the past four years, I have been the Educational Leader and Assistant Manager at Narre Warren. I have thoroughly enjoyed this challenge and working closely with our team to create engaging, and meaningful programs for your children.

As a smaller service, we can build strong connections with all families. I am deeply committed to fostering positive, respectful relationships with children and families across our service.

Child Care Subsidy

Our programs qualify for the Federal Government's Child Care Subsidy (CCS).

CCS helps eligible families access approved and registered child care providers by partially subsidising the cost of daily fees.

Visit the Services Australia website to find out more or use this Child Care Subsidy Calculator to see how much you might pay.

What our families say about us

I cannot speak highly enough of the Narre Warren YMCA Early Learning Centre. All staff members made an incredible effort to make us and our daughter feel comfortable and welcome from our first interaction with the centre. Samantha

We have been with YMCA Narre Warren for almost 2 years and couldn’t be happier. Their professionalism and consistency in working together as a team to create such a warm and nurturing environment is amazing. Megan

I absolutely love this centre. It’s the staff that has made me enrol all three my kids here. The way they engage with them. Their warmth. It has been an amazing experience. Gaynor
