Explore our Clyde North centre

At our Clyde North centre, we provide high-quality early education and care in a nurturing and welcoming environment.

We’re located next door to Wilandra Rise Primary School, which is a short walk from Selandra Rise Shopping Centre, the wetlands and the Selandra Family and Children’s Centre (maternal child health services).

Our centre has dedicated spaces for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) as well as music and language programs. We have large outdoor spaces and a vegetable garden for children to explore and learn about sustainability.

As a community-focused, not-for-profit centre, we love getting to know all our families. We're part of a culturally diverse community and have strong relationships with local schools, parks and children's services. We know that by working together, we can help your child thrive.

Meet our Centre Manager

Roshini Samaraweera

With 13 years of experience in early childhood education, I'm passionate about working alongside like-minded educators who believe in achieving high quality education and care for all children.

We aim to inspire, challenge and support our children. We encourage each child to get involved in our programs and express their ideas and individuality.

We hold a deep respect for our community and understand that all families are unique. We're committed to sustaining partnerships with families to ensure children can be proud and strong in their culture.

Our team of educators can speak multiple languages including English, Arabic, Gujarati, Hindi, Punjab, Sinhalese and Tamil.

Meet our Educational Leader

Julie Randle

I have worked in the Early Childhood sector for 15 years in many roles including Room Leader/Assistant Manager with most of my time being spent as an Educational Leader. I also spent some time as an Area Manager in OSHC.

We never stop learning. There is always something that we can learn from those around us, always new knowledge we can acquire and research, and that we are all on our learning journey together.

Through my past experiences and knowledge learnt, I am passionate about being an advocate for every child’s right to quality early childhood education through safe, secure and supportive relationships, and aim to inspire children and educators to further learn, challenge and extend themselves.

I have strong interest in creating learning environments where children can explore, learn and challenge themselves through sustainable approaches and open-ended materials, and enjoy supporting and mentoring other educators in this space.

CCS helps eligible families access approved and registered child care providers by partially subsidising the cost of daily fees.

What our families say about us

Couldn't be more happier with YMCA Clyde North. My son started daycare here in February this year. Thanks to the lovely educators, he adjusted well very quickly. He loves going in every morning and that shows the positive impact the educators had on him.Veda

My son started at the centre at the beginning of 2024 in the 3-year-old kindergarten program, and we’ve had such a great experience. It’s been so reassuring knowing he’s happy, safe, and cared for every day. The educators are so lovely and really engaged with the kids.Emma

We couldn’t be happier with YMCA Clyde North on Aayana St! I was initially anxious about changing centers, but my daughter has adjusted amazingly and is absolutely thriving. She comes in happy every day, which speaks volumes about the nurturing and supportive environment.Chris
